Batman

Is Parkinson’s My Super Power the real Cape Crusader?

I’m On the road again !

So

Is there a Doctor in the house?

Sometimes traveling with My Parkinson’s puts me in a

NO WIN situation.

My schedule gets completely messed up,.

Meds , meals, lack of mobility while strapped to a chair in a vehicle you have no control of.

Doctor Doolittle, where are you?

I have morphed into that mythical creature the

“ Push me Pull You”

The pull and love of Family is to strong.

When an opportunity is there

I must challenge my super powers and jump into them with a knowledge that PAIN

Will surely follow!

But this is one of my realities that is now part of my Parkinson’s.

I boldly leap,

Okay leap, may be a stretch

But it sounds better than

I boldly unfreeze into a festinating step as I fall forward into the opportunity to visit those idiotic people I consider my Family!

We are all getting older and those opportunities are getting fewer and fewer.

So Remembering my Power Affirmations

I have a good day when I:

Socialize

When I:

Move

And When I

Laugh

I cherish my chance to visit my friends and family

I love my friends and family!!!

So in the words of that famous Parkinson’s astronaut

It’s one small step for man,

One giant unfrozen festinating step to fall forward, for my kind!

I must use my Parkie Super powers and say to my trusted caregiver and sidekick

To the Batcar, Robin!

Have fun and BE a warrior

Ps: I will never work with family again!!

Thanks to Shayla McMahon my nephew’s daughter for her wrangling skills.

Herding these animals was not easy!

Also note no Robertson’s were harmed in the filming of this video.

Have Fun and be a Warrior
