Seven steps to success

Step that step – Sawyer Brown

1 : Set a goal

Know where you want to go. The path you should take to get there. Be prepared to do what it takes to achieve your goal. Adversity and hurdles may stand in your way but a clear vision will not deny the persistent Parkie!

All people face hurdles but it is those that keep an eye on what they want that will have the diligence to move forward. They may be slowed but they will not be deterred.

2: Have patience

Every Parkie will face adversity, pressure and setbacks. However, it is the Parkie that keeps their mission and passion that will, in time, get them to where they want to be.

3: Self Development

You will get guidance during your life with Parkinson’s. But don’t rely on this guidance for success.

Success is driven eternally!

Reach out and embrace quality guidance, but the bulk of your growth with this disease. Comes from you. It is your Passion that will dictate your Parkinson’s responses.

4: Technical Passion

Living a life with Parkinson’s will require a collection of technical and athletic assets.

Consistency of your Parkinson’s life is found here.

5: Athletic Passion

Fitness plays a major role in moving on with a life with Parkinson’s.

Fitness plays an equal part as along side of the Technical and Mental aspects.

A Parkie who has confidence in their fitness level has a strong advantage in dealing with their diagnosis.

6: understand YOUR Body

Understanding how your body works, is the ability to have your body and brain ready to perform.

Knowing how and when your drugs work gives you the best chance for success.

Rest, eating right, proper exercise and practice habits all get the body ready and willing to perform.

7: Be a student of the disease

The Parkie who arms themselves with information about the disease, gains a competitive edge.

Information feeds anticipation, tactical responses, etc, directly into the Parkies success .

Allowing them to…….

Have fun and be a Warrior
