We are Marimba Dancers, Damn It!

Sway by Dean Martin

You know that Dyskinesias are involuntary, erratic, writhing movements of the face, arms, legs or trunk.

They are often fluid and dance-like,

Well

Who would have thunk,

MARIMBA!

Holly crap

I’ve had a revelation

I don’t have Dyskinesia

I’m a marimba dancer!

I don’t tremor

I SWAY

When marimba rhythms

start to play

Dys Kin e sia,

made me sway

Like a lazy ocean

hugged the shore

It held me close,

swayed me more

Like a flower bending

in the breeze

It Bent with me,

I swayed with ease

When I dance It had a way with me

Stayed with me,

swayed with me

Other dancers may be on the floor

but only it’s eyes could

see what I do

Only I had that Parkie technique

When we swayed

I got weak

I can hear the sounds of violins

Long before it begins

Make me thrill

as only you know how

Sway me smooth,

sway me now

Other dancers may be on the floor

but only it’s eyes could

see what I do

Only I had that Parkie technique

When we swayed

I got weak

I can hear the sounds

of violins

Long before

it begins

Make me thrill

as only you know how

Sway me smooth,

sway me now

You know how

Sway me smooth,

sway me now
