My Unknown

I’m not who I was: Chance Peña

One of the most frustrating things about MY – Parkinson’s is the UNKNOWN.

Not the unknown that tomorrow brings. I seldom look that far.

For me it is the UNKNOWN that will come my way today.

The unknown in my NOW!

I feel like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde!

It’s like I’m in a constant game of “Chicken” against My Parkinson’s.

A part of my today, I am Alive with excitement ! Daring my Parkinson’s to give its worst.

Then there are times, when it has gut punched me. Dropping me to my knees. Daring me get up and face it again.

“I know it’s hard when I’m away.

I’ll just hope you don’t lose faith. Cause I told the truth when I said to you, THAT I’LL BE BACK AGAIN SOMEDAY!”

Will you love me for who I am, not who I was?

Have fun and be a warrior
