Dancing with Parkinson’s

Dance with me tonight: Oly Murs

Diagnosed: May 25, 2012 Video; MY VERY FIRST: Jan. 123/2023

It’s 3:30 in the morning!

Why can’t I sleep?

Damn it !

Laying on my back, burping as acid reflux takes control.

My legs shake and if I lay on my side indubitably I bash myself in the head with my tremors.

Tick tock tick tock, time passes so slowly when you lay in the dark with nothing but your thoughts.

One can feel so alone, so isolated.

It seems Parkinson’s is finally taken hold ………….

What the F##k am I thinking?

Laying beside me is the women who has Been by my side for over 40 years!

Mother to our three children

Together we have nine grandchildren!

We have incredible friends.

A beautiful new home.

Sure life has had its ups and downs.

But you know what, overall it’s been a ride, an adventure .

It’s not over yet, the adventure continues.

An adventure worth sharing!

So it’s now 4:02 AM and I feel like dancing……

Okay

Let’s celebrate

Who wants to:

Dance with me tonight!

On a side note, this took me 3 attempts. First time I thought I pushed record but NO!😡

Unfortunately this was the best feeling I had in any of my posts to date.

Second attempt found out my phone ran out of memory.

So hear we go one more time.
