Does your Parkinson’s have Style?

Walking, Talking,Boxing biking, dancing singing running golf, tennis etc, these are all activities .

Participating in these activities activate the body 4 ways.

Mentally, Visually, Orally and Physically

These activities demand different levels of commitment from different parts of the body.

This commitment must be unified 4 different ways

Mentally, Visually, Orally and Physically.

Exercise prepares the the body so that the body will be able to perform the skills required from the tactic that will be employed,

We therefore must concentrate this exercise in 4 areas.

Do you know what they are?

Yes!

So sounding like an old broken record they are….

Mental, Visual, Orally and Physical

The tactics chosen to compete against Parkinson’s employ the use of multiple skills.

We refine these skills tactically through Practice .

There are 4 P’s to practice they are

Purpose, Precision, Power and Patience.

Parkinson’s is a designer disease. Meaning it is unique to that one Particular Parkie.

So that when we partake in an activity the skills that are used by us will be our own secret concoction.

We all must try and have as many skill sets as possible. For the more we have the more flexible we can be in fighting the myriad of symptoms that Parkinson’s puts in our way.

The skill sets we develop and use define Your Parkinson’s Style

So Living a life with Parkinson’s is an activity,

that needs exercise

So that we are able to practice

The tactics we choose to compete against the progression of our Parkinson’s.

Yes, stamina and endurance are part of the skill sets involved But they aren’t basically the most important ,

It all depends on the individual needs.

Therefore, we must practice the skills required to perform those activities .

Not exercise for those activities.

We must change the way we think About how we do our exercises .

once again our body is not a tool.

It is our instrument we must learn how to play our instrument not just use it.

Those skills will become your style.

Your Style makes you Shine!

Have fun and be a Warrior
