Parkinson’s is the Great Pretender

Parkinson’s is the great pretender (ooh ooh)

Pretending that I’m doing well (ooh ooh)

My need is such I pretend too much

I’m in pain but no one can tell

Oh yes I’m the great pretender(ooh ooh)

Adrift in a world of my own (ooh ooh)

I play the game but to my real shame

I didn’t realize I’m not in this alone

Too real is this feeling of make believe

Too real when I feel what my heart can’t conceal

Ooh ooh yes I’m the great pretender (ooh ooh)

Just laughing and wearing a frown (ooh ooh)

I seem to be what I’m not (you see)

I’m wearing my smile as afrown

Pretending that you’re not around

Yeah ooh hoo

Too real when I feel what my heart can’t conceal

Oh yes I’m the great pretender

Just laughing all day with a frown(ooh ooh)

I seem to be what I’m not you see

I’m wearing my laugh with a frown

Pretending vs Perspective

When someone sees me golfing this can fuse them when they see me struggling.

They can be heard saying that I am Pretending, that they just saw me golfing now look at me.

What they don’t see is me pretending to be okay when I am struggling.

It depends on what side of the fence your looking from.
