Trans. Canada Trail challenge:
Lean on me, Lean on us!
April is Parkinson’s awareness month.
Part of this awareness is realizing there are some Parkies who have very limited mobility.
They have aspirations of doing something , seeing something, talking about something.
But with those aspirations comes the realization that they probably can’t do it.
My goal for this April is to hopefully get the people, who can. To help those who can’t accomplish some of those aspirations.
What better way to do so than exposing them to parts of our beautiful country they might never ever have the opportunity to visit themselves.
So my mission, our mission, is to try and walk parts of the trans trail for them.
What better month than April Parkinson’s awareness month.
So if you or somebody you know, can walk part of the trail for them, please join me in this endeavor.
Please include the following:
1: total kilometres covered
2: Part of the trail you covered
3: Your name
4: Who you walked for
5: Pictures of both you and them
6: And at least five pictures of your portion of the trail
a: you’re starting point
b: your ending point
c: three points of interest
Please pass this along to others that you may think would want to help accomplish our goal.
Please forward your walk information and pictures to
