The Moronavirus

Ian, that Covidiot, as usual took everything he heard the wrong way. He has spent most of the year in self isolation on the computer, fattening the curve, and looking at pictures of antibodies. He says it is the Parkinson’s that causes all his moaning and groaning, as he tries to lubricate his stiff body parts.

At least he listened to his Doctor’s advice. Which was to self isolate, wear a mask and to come alone!

Mean while Short Flatulent Sue, spent most of the year at the studio or creating her own bubble environment by farting in the bath tub.

Needless to say we didn’t go anywhere this year. However there is still notable news that we feel compelled to share.

We both turned 65 this year and are officially pensioners!

And as such we now feel like a couple of retired reindeers. Santa can call us by this refrain ” Shuffle along ye Old, Tired, Poor, Grumpy, Shorty and Shaky. Shuffle away, Shuffle away, Shuffle away all.”

Parkinson’s and the Pandemic didn’t mix well with Ian. His mind sometimes goes. Just the other day Sue had to explain to him that when she talks about cup size, it has nothing to do with how her Bra fits, but refers to her pottery.

Our Quaran-Team

Well we welcomed a couple of new grand children into the family and just received news that another Quaranababy will be coming our way during 2021.

You would think that they would be aware that some Personal Protective Equipment might prevent what seems to be a different annual Epidemic.

I guess we will have to use some Social Shaming to try and prevent any future Outbreaks!

Community Spread

Alexandra Robertson, daughter to Rian and Kristiana and sister to Cullen and Victoria was found under the Christmas tree of 2019. They still call Ottawa home.

Cole Robertson arrived in a 2020 Easter Basket to Blair and Lisa. Another male for poor Lisa as he joins brothers Chase and Easton. They are still in Montreal. However they just moved into a bigger home this November.

As far as I know Jalen and Kendrick aren’t expecting any new additions to the “ERT” less family of Dyan and Josh Robson in Saskatoon.

Contact Tracing

The biggest news however is that in 2021 after 37 years in Outlook, we will soon be Motel-less.

We will be moving East. Well not too far East. To Broderick, Saskatchewan, 10 Km’s east of Outlook.

Sue will have a new studio and we will be in a new home. Both of which we get to design. Construction to start in the spring.

So hopefully we will be moved into the new facilities by July.

Coronoacation

this means we will be looking forward to not Zooming those Virtual Happy hours. That the next Quarantinis we share is when we can actually Cluster together in person.

So as this year ends may it at least bring to light the importance of Family and Friends.

How quickly they enter our lives and even more, how quickly they may be taken from us.
