It’s okay to complain
“ gloom, despair, and agony on me. Deep down in depression, excessive misery. If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all gloom, despair and agony on me.”
It’s okay to complain
The first step to a positive lifestyle is knowing that it’s okay to be negative
To much of a good thing can actually be a negative
Nobody is perfect
Let me repeat that
Nobody is perfect
Scream it
Nobody is Perfect!!!!
You must have a method to expel those Negative vibes
Curse , swear , rant , rave
Find a person, a method to let go of those pains that WE ALL HAVE and feel!
I, myself have a wonderful wife and caregiver that listens to my every moan and groan
However when she’s not there this is what I do
I fill a water bottle and visit my bathroom
I try to think about what Is wrong in my world.
Not the world but MY world !
Realize that any big change has to start with small changes first
It is a progression
I do not make a list
If it is not in the moment, then its not really worth venting about at this time
Take a swig of water
swish it around in your mouth.
Imagining that water is your vent.
When you can’t take it anymore, spit it out into your toilet.
Flush it out of your life!!!
You don’t want to swallow it. As that just puts it back into your body
Externalize not internalize your vents
Don’t let them fester and grow stronger .
They’re like weeds. every now and then, they have to be pulled from your garden
This makes for a healthier garden
But even the healthiest of gardens has a few weeds in it
Keep weeding
Keep spitting
Being aware of your negativity and having a method to temporarily expel them from your system, are musts.
So go a head, complain to me!
Have fun and be a warrior!
We all need to have a bit of a moan or a winge from time to time. I try to be positive most of the time, but I feel when you are writing a blog, or doing a podcast, you also have to be real and authentic with what you share. No-one can be happy 100% of the time and I feel I owe my followers and myself to acknowledge that sometimes life is crap! I often say that it works for me to be a pessimist. If you are too positive and optimistic then if things don’t work out, then you have further to fall. If you are pessimistic and it doesn’t work out, I find it doesn’t affect me so much. But, if it does work out then I am pleasantly surprised. For me, I have to find an outlet for my feelings and that is what my blog started out for. I also hope to help others who are affected by Parkinson’s. I enjoyed reading your post, maybe you might like to listen to my podcasts or read my blog too. I love seeing and hearing what others in the PD world are up to.
