Endeavor to Persevere

Endeaver to PersevereParkinsons- My Super Power·Monday, May 20, 2019·1 minute30 Reads

When best-laid plans have fallen to waste and frustration abounds in their former place, when failure looms with doubts and fears we must endeavor to persevere!

Poem by George Wootten

For me, the knowing that I use to be able to do so many trivial little things so easy before is the most annoying thing with Parkinson’s.

However attempting to continue doing them, no matter how slow, how painful, or how frustrating, is invigorating and brings a sense of normality to my every day life. This normality makes me appreciate the joy of being alive and the people around me that contribute to that joy!

Life offers us two paths. One dark and one lit.

The Dark one shows us what we see wrong in our lives.

The negative. The Lit one shows us the wonder in our lives. The positive!

I choose the positive! I don’t want to bump into what life offers me by stumbling around in the dark!

I want to bump into them by being blinded by the light!

I want to endeavour…. to persevere!
